Buyer Process For Sell Side Clients

Walden Businesses Buy Side Process

Walden works with buyers across a wide spectrum of industry groups as it manages and administers sell side divestiture engagements. These buyer groups broadly encompass industry and corporate buyers, private equity groups, and high net worth and industry-experienced individual buyers. As a component of its sell side engagement, Walden is retained by its clients to ensure that buyers examining its exclusive opportunities are properly qualified to review a particular acquisition candidate.

While each engagement can carry unique qualification guidelines, the following provides general guidelines and documentation that buyers are required to submit during their review of exclusive sell side engagements:

For Individual Buyers
• Executed, client specific Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Resume or bio of buyer’s business experience
• Current net worth statement indicating sufficient financial strength to complete the transaction

For Corporate Entities
• Client specific Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) executed by an authorized C-level Executive or   Managing Partner
• Summary description of the corporate entity
• Information on the committed fund from which the entity is currently making acquisitions
