Judy brings to Walden an expertise in marketing and advertising, and a unique perspective on the child and senior care industries on which she has chosen to focus.
Beginning her career in Southern California, she worked in advertising with a wide variety of industries. For fifteen years, Judy headed her own company as an independent publisher's representative assisting clients in determining their key markets and targeting them with a strategic marketing plan. Relocating to Atlanta in 1994, she spent six years in the corporate world working with companies to craft and deliver customized marketing messages.
As a daughter, mother and grandmother, she brings a passion for child and senior care. Having experiences with the child and senior care industries personally, she is well aware of the importance of quality care not only for the individual, but their entire family.
These industries have unique challenges including licensing requirements, marketing to the community, and employee retention problems. Frequently, there are special purpose buildings that are integral to the business and that must be evaluated carefully. These factors require specialized knowledge and a broker familiar with the issues.
Judy works with both independent and franchised owners to assess their needs, determine their goals and then to develop a marketing strategy that will work to achieve them. She has an extensive network of resources to find a buyer quickly for her sellers and to assist buyers with their acquisition and financing needs.
Judy is an active member of the International Association of Business Brokers (IBBA) and is degreed in History from Scripps College in Claremont, California.
