Founder of Walden Businesses, Chet Walden is a nationally recognized intermediary in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions. Since 1990, he has guided business owners through the buying and selling process, completing over three hundred successful transactions.
Chet is proactive in strategic structuring, corporate buy-outs, mergers, capital procurement, acquisitions, and buyer representation, and has been retained by law firms, accounting firms, and private business owners to handle market opinions for them and their clients.
In 2001, Chet received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association. The CBI designation is earned through completing specialty accounting and broker educational courses, ten years industry experience, and the closing of multiple types of transactions. In the spring of 2008, Chet earned one of the highest designations in the M&A industry, the coveted Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI). Currently, there are fewer than eighty M&AMI professionals in the country who have achieved this prestigious level of certification. At the Fall 2009 industry conference, Chet was named a “Fellow of the IBBA” and nominated to the Board of Directors for M&A Source.
Chet serves on numerous boards and associations in Georgia. He was honored by Catalyst Magazine as one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs in Georgia.
