Pat has experience which spans the corporate world, national and international mergers and acquisitions, national sales and training, and personal ownership of a startup business. Pat has been an Intermediary since 1989 and a member of the M&A Source and International Business Brokers Association since 1990.
She received the CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) designation in 1992 and was awarded the Fellow of the IBBA in November of 2002, a lifetime award. The Fellow of the IBBA is awarded to IBBA members in good standing who have held the CBI certification for a minimum of ten (10) years and have made significant contributions to the association during that time. In 2005 she earned the M&AMI certification (Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary), an elite certification that is held by fewer than 90 worldwide professionals. In 2014 she was awarded the Fellow of the M&A Source. The Fellowship is a lifetime award that is one of the highest honors bestowed by the M&A Source and recognizes and honors M&A Source members who have made sustained and significant contributions to the Association. Pat has accepted a three-year term (2015 – 2017) to serve on the M&A Source Board of Directors and is serving as Chairman of Education. In April 2015 Pat earned the Certified M&A Professional (CMAP) certification through Kennesaw University, Coles College of Business/Executive Education Program.
Pat is recognized locally and throughout the United States as a developer, author and approved instructor for M&A Source courses and IBBA University education courses. She was also responsible for developing and coordinating the Train the Trainer program to certify instructors for the M&A Source and IBBA University.
She is a member of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and is involved in the CEO Roundtable of that Chamber. She is an Alumnus of the Leadership Cobb Class for 2009-2010, and an Alumnus of the 2011 Honorary Commanders Class. Pat was also selected as an Honoree for the 2010 YWCA of Northwest Georgia’s Tribute to Women of Achievement.
Pat attended the University of Alabama, maintains a real estate broker’s license in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina, and is a 1973 graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI). She specializes in specific service companies, wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing.
